Device preparation and rollout

Prepare the devices.
Organise the handover.

For IT teams refreshing devices or equipping new users, we coordinate the preparation needed before a batch leaves for delivery. The approved configuration and handover records guide the work.

Agree the preparation

Build each batch around your IT requirements.

Preparation is a quoted service scope, with configuration, materials and responsibilities agreed before work starts.

Customer-specified OS imaging

Agree the operating-system image, configuration instructions and necessary licences or access with your IT team. Imaging work follows the approved requirement.

Serial numbers and rollout lists

Capture serial numbers and prepare agreed reports. Spreadsheet imports help organise batch information, with a team member reviewing the data.

Staging and presentation

Arrange staging, extra protective packing and company welcome inserts where requested. Materials, artwork and any additional charges are agreed for the order.

How preparation works

Confirm, prepare, check, release.

Define the required checks and the person who can approve changes to the batch.

1. Confirm the instructions

Review device quantities, image instructions, accessories, user or site allocation and the records required at handover.

2. Prepare the batch

Carry out the agreed imaging and staging work, capture serials and check the prepared devices against the instructions. Resolve exceptions with your team.

3. Pack for the next step

Match the batch to its delivery list and include agreed accessories and inserts. Release arrangements follow the confirmed rollout and delivery plan.

Records and responsibilities

Give your IT team the information it needs.

Agree file formats, required fields and acceptance checks before preparation begins.

Serial-number reporting

Receive the agreed serial list and batch information to support your own asset and user records. The report format and allocation fields are defined with you.

Windows Autopilot Hardware Hash

Hardware Hash capture and file handover can be scoped separately. Providing the file is distinct from importing devices, completing tenant enrollment or applying deployment policies.

A defined completion check

Review preparation status and outstanding exceptions against the agreed scope. Any additional enrollment, application setup or support work needs its own agreement.
